The Team

(they/she)

Reylinn

Reylinn started Lanesplit Cycles in early 2020. They’ve been working as a mechanic in the bike industry since 2013, and spend the fall and winter on the road as a bike courier. They work on nearly all types of bicycles, but are drawn most to bikes with a focus on urban / everyday use, track / fixed gear, cargo, road, retro MTB, and gravel.

she/her

Janis

Janis has been helping out with the wrenching at lanesplit since early 2021, and has been fixing bikes professionally since 2010. As a volunteer in community bike shops since long before then, she acquired a passion for the challenge of restoring function to hopelessly broken-seeming used bicycles and an eagerness to help cyclists with varied needs navigate the roadblocks to their personal cycling goals. In her spare time she enjoys expanding on her self-taught sewing machine repair skills.

(they/he)

Johnny

Johnny joined Lanesplit shortly after its inception, bringing on product knowledge and ecommerce focused industry experience. Before entering the biking scene, Johnny completed an undergraduate degree at UBC in combined sciences, and worked as a youth and family recreation coordinator since 2014. They continue to volunteer as a board member for Burnaby youth sports, demonstrating a passion for community driven initiatives that promote inclusivity, healthy living and environmental awareness. Catch him riding 90’s steel, gravel rocket ships, and anything with a basket!
